The ProTaper AFC Handlebar Ø28.6mm SX Race is the first motocross handlebar reinforced with a unidirectional carbon fiber core and 7000-series aluminum, engineered for maximum impact absorption, flexibility, and significant weight reduction without sacrificing strength.
Innovative construction combines an internal carbon fiber core with high-strength aluminum, safely reducing wall thickness and achieving up to 20% less weight compared to standard 1-1/8" handlebars. The Control+ design features 220mm of usable area for controls, mapping switches, and accessories—offering considerably more space than conventional handlebars. Shot-peened, anodized, and epoxy-coated internally for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, it is well suited for heavy motocross and enduro use.
