The ProTaper AFC Handlebar Ø28.6mm Henry/Reed features a unidirectional carbon fiber core combined with 7000 series aluminum, making it the first carbon fiber reinforced handlebar for motocross and enduro. It stands out for its exceptional flex, lightweight construction, and expanded mounting space for controls and accessories.
The carbon fiber core strengthens the structure, allowing the aluminum wall thickness to be reduced in critical areas and reducing weight by up to 20% compared to conventional Ø28.6mm handlebars, without compromising strength. The Control+ design provides 220mm of dedicated space for mounting controls, mapping switches, or buttons, offering more flexibility than standard handlebars. Advanced shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finishes, along with an internal epoxy coating, ensure excellent durability and corrosion protection for demanding off-road use.
