The ProTaper AFC Handlebar Ø28.6mm Carmichael is the first motocross handlebar reinforced with a unidirectional carbon fiber core, designed to deliver reduced weight, advanced impact absorption, and increased control mounting space.
Manufactured from 7000 series aluminum alloy and a carbon fiber core, this handlebar safely reduces wall thickness in key areas, achieving up to 20% weight savings compared to conventional 1-1/8” handlebars. The Control+ design provides 220 mm of space for controls, switches, and accessories, more than standard handlebars. Shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finishes ensure exceptional durability. Internal epoxy coating protects against corrosion.
