VForce3 Reed Valve KTM SX / Husqvarna TC 85 2009-2018

The Moto Tassinari VForce3 Reed Valve is designed to increase intake efficiency on two-stroke engines, improving airflow, throttle response and engine performance. This version is intended for KTM 85 SX / 105 SX applications and corresponding Husqvarna TC 85 applications.

The VForce design provides twice the Reed Petal tip surface area of a conventional Reed Valve. This configuration allows the Reed Petals to travel approximately half the distance required to achieve the same airflow.

The shorter Reed Petal travel promotes faster opening and increases the likelihood of the petals reaching full opening during operation. It also helps improve sealing on return and reduces wear caused by continuous opening and closing cycles.

At 8,000 rpm, a Reed Petal can open and close approximately 133 times per second. Reducing the distance travelled therefore contributes to increased durability and more efficient intake system operation.
