SKF / Ref. SKD49S - High Performance Motorcycle Suspension Seals
Motorcycle suspension seals are an essential part of protecting the overall front suspension system, having a crucial impact on riding comfort and smooth operation in the most adverse environments.
Completely redesigned with new and exciting technology - added to the well-established SKF fork seal products launched over 10 years ago - it consists of two newly developed rubber compounds and new geometries for the scraper lip and the sealing lip.
The combination of molded compounds, along with the enhanced properties of the sealing lip, offers greater tracking on the fork tube to reduce friction and increase lifespan. There is a brand-new metal insert and a self-cleaning open-wound spring on the scraper lip, effectively preventing seal contamination. The benefits of dual compound fork seals are:
- Increased sealing capacity
- Enhanced contamination exclusion
- Reliable protection of the fork's internal mechanism
- Minimal friction for better vehicle control and performance
Note: Two kits are required for complete suspension repair.
