VForce4 Reed Valve KTM/Husqvarna 250/300 2004-2016
The Moto Tassinari VForce4 Reed Valve has been completely redesigned from the VForce3 platform to increase airflow, improve engine response and extend Reed Petal durability. It is designed for KTM and Husqvarna 250/300 two-stroke applications.
The VForce system provides twice the Reed Petal tip surface area of a conventional Reed Valve. Each Reed Petal therefore needs to travel approximately half the distance to achieve the same airflow, allowing faster opening and improved sealing.
On the VForce4, the combined Reed Petal tip area has been increased by 10.5%. The wider reed cage maximises airflow, while the airfoil-shaped cage tips increase air velocity from the outer ports. The frontal area of the central wing has been reduced by 15.6% and given a more aerodynamic profile.
