VHM 12º Insert KTM SX 65 / Husqvarna TC 65 2024–2026
The VHM 12º insert is designed to deliver increased bottom and mid-range torque, making it particularly suitable for deep sand tracks. Featuring lower volume and a higher compression ratio than the standard VHM insert, it improves acceleration and mid-corner punch but may reduce top speed. The part number is laser-engraved on the insert for easy identification.
This insert fits exclusively into the VHM cylinder head AA33217 and must be used with the VHM 12º piston APKT06521722 and OEM base gasket of 0.70 mm. It does not fit OEM heads. High-quality fuel is recommended to prevent detonation. Use the VHM insert chart to select the optimal insert based on fuel, track conditions and elevation.
