Technical Cylinder Recovery Service
This technical service is designed for the recovery of off-road single-cylinder motorcycle cylinders, using the high-performance Scanimet® coating to replace the damaged original lining.
Included work
- Collection of the cylinder from the customer's address via CTT
- Shipment to AIRKIT® in Spain
- Removal of the current coating
- Welding interventions (if necessary)
- Application of the new Scanimet® coating
- Technical break-in of the cylinder
- Shipment of the repaired cylinder back to the customer's address via CTT
Important notes
- Exclusive service for off-road single-cylinder motorcycles
- Not all cylinders are repairable — contact us if in doubt
- Piston not included. You can purchase it in our online store and add it to the cart along with this service
- The cylinder must be well packed to avoid damage during transport
- If CTT collection fails, you must deliver the package to a CTT post
- Service available only in mainland Portugal
Steps to send the cylinder
- Place the service order and add a piston (preferably letter A)
- Send the fully disassembled cylinder (without valves, guides, etc.) along with the new piston
- Pack everything in a box and attach the CTT shipping label received by email
- CTT will collect the package at the indicated address
