Mx Ribatejo - Carvoeira

Last weekend, another stage of the MxRibatejo regional championship took place, this time in Serra de São Julião, Torres Vedras.

After an intense week of preparation for our KTM, which we had little time to test everything in conditions. Because this time we were going to present a new repair on a new engine.

On Sunday morning we were confident of a good result in training. After a few laps we could see that we had a competitive engine to fight for the first places.

After 7 laps of the circuit, having the 3rd best time, a malfunction in the gear selector caused the engine to be in gear in the 3rd gear.

In order not to bring the bike from the track to the riders' park, I forced the clutch to slip which caused it to overheat until it burned.

I'm disappointed because we could repair the damage and proceed to the race, so we were forced to give up right away in training.

With the adrenaline of racing sometimes we make obvious mistakes. Living and learning!

Next time will go better!
